Where can I apply for a visa to attend IBE?

To apply for your visa invitation letter you need to first register. Once you have registered for IFSEC International please submit the form via the following link: If you have any follow up questions, please get in contact with us. Please allow 5 working days for processing.

When will I receive my Intelligent Building Europe visitor badge?

Once you register you will be sent a digital version of your badge via email. Simply print this off and bring it with you on the day, if you don't have access to a printer, we have printers at the entrance when you arrive.

When is Intelligent Building Europe?

Tuesday 8 September: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 9 September: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday 10 September: 10:00am - 4:00pm

What if I’ve lost or forgotten my IBE badge when I arrive?

All you have to do is go to the sign-posted registration area and the registration staff will assist you with printing your badge.

How can I register my colleagues for Intelligent Building Europe?

Simply click here to send an invite to a colleague. They then just need to fill out a few short questions to register to ensure we can send them relevant information in the run-up to the show.

As a visitor to Intelligent Building Europe, do I have access to the other shows in the Protection and Management Series?

Yes! Your badge gives you free access into FIREX International, the Facilities Show, Safety & Health Expo, CTX Expo, Workplace Wellbeing and all of the features these provide. Pick and choose seminar sessions across any show, network and meet with any of the Protection & Management Series' leading solutions providers.

Am I able to register for IBE when i arrive?

Yes but, we would recommend you do this in advance. If you’re not on our systems and don’t have a badge or e-invite, you may have to queue and your entry to the show will be delayed.

Where can I find help points at ExCel London?

You can find help points and team members on hand to help by all main entrances.

Where can I eat at Intelligent Building Europe?

Themed cafes serving light snacks and refreshments can be found within the show. There will be bars, restaurants and seating outside each hall for more substantial meals.

Is there parking at ExCel London?

There is parking available underneath ExCeL. It is £20 a day. You can pre-book your parking here

Is there free WiFi at Intelligent Building Europe?

There are two WiFi options within the venue: ExCeL FREE or ExCeL Free fast. You can log in using your social media accounts or by directly by filling in your details.

Is there a cash point at Intelligent Building Europe?

Full banking facilities are available at ExCeL London.

Are there disabled parking bays at IBE?

There are a number of disabled parking bays that are spread across the car park. See the excel website for more details:

Are there cycle racks at IBE?

There are some by the west entrance taxi rank and by the Aloft Hotel at the east of the venue underneath the stairway connecting Level 0 to Level 1. There are 60 cycle racks in total. There is no charge to use the cycle racks.

Are there any facilities for disabled people at IBE?

ExCeL London caters for wheelchair users, via ramps or lifts.

Other Information

Can students attend IBE?

Students are permitted entry to Intelligent Building Europe by prior arrangement only. Please contact us for further information and guidelines.

Can I bring children to IBE?

An Exhibition is a trade event, and the nature of the exhibits & our attendees reflect this. As such attendance by anyone under the age of 16 is strictly prohibited at all times; this includes build-up, the open days and breakdown of the exhibition. No alternative facilities will be provided.
